Septic Tank Cleaning
The purpose of septic tank cleaning or pumping is
required to remove the natural build up of sludge in a septic tank.
Imagine what happens when you compost yard or garden waste, just as in
a septic tank you rely on bacteria and enzymes to break down matter.
In yard waste you end up with decomposed material rich, fertile soil.
Sewage sludge is the decomposed material left behind in a septic tank.
This sewage sludge is what must be removed with cleaning or pumping.
If not done, it will pass to your secondary system and cause failure
and/or premature replacement.

Drain Cleaning
Drain cleaning is a skilled trade which relys on
experience and the right tools. We have state-of-the-art cutters for
root cutting, clearing rust and corrosion and clearing tough grease
clogged lines. We have large and small cable machines and trailor
mounted high pressure sewer jetters.
Sewer jetters use high pressure water 1,200 to
4,000 psi (pounds per square inch) through a special nozel to propel
itself with a jet like blast out of the rear of the nozel and cleans
as it travels down the pipe.

Sump Pumps
Liberty Brand Pumps have been our choice for over
20 years. They provide a wide range of pumps from sewage pumps and
battery back-up pumps to high head (high lift) pumps. A two year
warranty is standard. A service call charge may be extra on some
warranty work. Their standard pump has either a wide angle float
switch or for tight spaces, a vertical float switch.

- Grease Traps
Grease Traps are vital to "trapping" grease
before water travels to the rest of the sewer system. Grease Traps are
sized according to flow rates and types of foods served. Pumping
schedules are designed just the same way. For example, some 1,000
gallon grease traps may need pumped once every 30 days, while a 100
gallon under-the-sink trap may need cleaned every 30 days or can go as
long as 1 year depending on usage.
Most local sewer districts require pumping to
help maintain their sewers will work properly too. Our
procedure/preference has always been to remove all of the water,
grease and food from the grease trap. We backflush (rinse) the trap
and repump leaving little water. We also scrape the sides (if
applicable) and check the drains for any buildup. We dispose of the
waste at the waste water treatment facility.

Gutters and Downspouts
Gutter and Downspout drains are your first line
of defense to keep your basement walls and floors dry. Downspout lines
can drain to city street curbs, to ditches or to underground storm
sewers. We can unclog downspouts by using cable type machines and also
our sewer jetters to clean roots and debris from the drains. We have
video camers and locators to pinpoint problems to reduce repair costs.
We have a large and small backhoe to replace lines if needed. We have
several different types of pipe available to suit your repair needs.
